We’re happy to share that the next Slingshot Development Fund Board Meeting will take place in March 2026, and we warmly invite you to submit funding proposals for consideration.

The proposal deadline is February 8, 2026.Please send your completed proposal to zarchilatt@protonmail.com, and kindly cc interconnected90@gmail.com.

We usually support one-year projects, though we also welcome six-month proposals for new initiatives starting in March or April 2026. When preparing your budget, please keep it realistic and right-sized—Slingshot is a small, flexible funder with limited capacity for large awards.

Funding Priorities

We especially welcome proposals from:

• Community-based organizations, local initiatives, and emergency relief efforts serving communities affected by the Yadana gas pipeline (generally the area between Ye and Tavoy)

• Community-based organizations and emergency relief projects in Thanintharyi Division and Mon State

• Projects addressing urgent needs such as humanitarian relief, education, and food security

Ineligible Projects

Please note that Slingshot does not fund:

• Political parties

• Governments

• Armed organizations

• Microfinance initiatives

• Individual applicants

We’d be grateful if you could share this call with aligned organizations, especially those working in our priority regions. New applicants are warmly encouraged to reach out for a brief introductory conversation before submitting a proposal.
